Single scoops normally cost $1.19, and double scoops normally cost $1.69.The reason why it's so cheap is because Rite Aid anticipated a high demand for hand dip ice cream this summer and produced a lot of ice cream. The demand fell short of of expectations and now they want to reduce inventory as quickly as possible, so they came up with this sale.

The only catch is that this is for Southern California stores with ads that break on Fridays. Other regions may participate in the sale, depending on the District Managers discretion.
